Wow, so this is an absolutely crazy article that I found about a Pre-operation Transgendered Man who was banned from a Women-Only gym in St. Catharine's, Ontario, and decided to sue based on a violation of human rights and discrimination. The article is from The Calgary Herald, written by Nigel Hannaford, and he has some pretty critical and sarcastic things to say - however, he is objective and presents some very important parallels to be made between this case and other "absurdities" within Canadian society. Hannaford says he learned about this case through The Globe and Mail, but I searched and searched and couldn't find the original, so this will have to do...it gives you the gist of the situation at least.
